| Description: | Here's another deck post. I know deck posts are low on the sparkly-
shiny totem pole, but it beats staring at an empty newsgroup. There
isn't anything too terribly original about this one. Frankly, I'm just trying to come up with something that will stand a chance against the weenie potence horde I assume Peter will be playing at the NE Qualifier, to which I am most definitely now going, and one that I also will have fun playing. Kinda silly to blair that on the newsgroup? Eh, who cares. Peter's not exactly low-profile in his choice of decks, either, and I figure it's a pretty safe bet he'll be in the finals. Won't do any good to go all the way to Boston, play well enough to make the final table, and then get weenie-rushed into the pavement.
It's a Lambach deck. I'm taking advantage of his and Goratrix' specials to reduce the amount of combat cards I'll need. This is intrinsically good, and also good against weenie strategies that overcome opposing combat (Fortitude, S:CE) by sheer volume. |
