Deck Name: Nu's Nine Discipline Assault Created By: David Cherryholmes Description: Multi-actions with Temporis. Uses nine disciplines. Core mechanics are: 1) Kiss of Lachesis Assault Rifles. Costs two pool, and lets you nuke allies and equipment at +1 stealth, giving you defense against all sorts of wierd trick decks as a side benefit. Also, if anyone else discards good gear, you can go get that for free. It requires far too many AR's to both get one to the ashheap quickly enoughand not gag on them, so 4 Dreams are key parts of the deck. 2. The AR combat is supplimented by 8 Lapses, which combine with the AR in interesting, and obvious, ways. Prior to acquiring the gun, or if robbed of it, they can provide good defense and the ability to hit back. Tastes are pretty crucial, but I cut it back .from 8 to six to get the deck down to 80 cards. The consumption of slot after slot of blood management cards should also be obvious, so luckily that offsets a slight deficiency in the Taste department. Also, with a cost of only two pool, it may be efficient at times to DBR the AR, striking for six agg. That's a burn against anyone with 4 blood or less, and you can deny them the opportunity to dodge or S:CE. Obviously I wouldn't waste this on any target with fortitude. 3. In playtest I found myself having more untap than I knew what to do with, so I've upped the number of actions considerably from Rev 1. There are fifteen distinct action built into the deck, and 26 action cards, so hopefully the lack of putting the untap to use will be lessened (deckbot is down as I write this, so no dry run there). One third of those actions put blood on an uncontrolled younger minion. I would pay full cost for exactly one vampire, especially when that vampire is a turbo machine. In playing Fatima I've learned how often your nerds just sit there, so there's no big rush to go get them. 4. POT/PRE is used mainly to bully bleed with Iron Glare, so I filled most of the crypt with those vampires. Every vamp with a capacity >4 who's not Nu has something extra to recommend him. Synesios (though I'd govern down heavily to get him) is one of the Serpentis guys, and obviously the next most useful other than Nu. Amelia has a built in rush. Other minions can go get those cheap assault rifles off Nu; I'd trust a non-hoss with a .44. So in the end game, Amelia and a Big Ass Gun could be a huge asset. Sela is a well-known house. Her advanced version brings 2 votes to the table; often just having a few votes out will keep you from being "that guy who takes one", but she mainly got in rather than another good nerd because she is !Brujah, and WMO is factored into the massive card churn I'm going to put on the table. Sir Ralph... another Serpentis guy. (erpentis also gives some extra play out of the KoL, which has a ser outferior. After that, it's the nerds, but they are interesting, seldomly played nerds. I went a little higher on my Three Stooges package, but if a nerd is to have a chance at Lapse-Taste, they need to be three's. Tayshawn's obf is actually a big boon, letting her get +1 stealth out of the Domains, and more importantly, Clotho'ing out extra vampires to Enchant out. Frederick, being weak as he is, will never play Lapse, and so gets into the club at a nice, low, two capacity.
